What is the difference between animals on a farm and the book Animal Farm

In the book Animal Farm the animals talk about how unfair their life is on the farm. Is life on a real farm just as bad as in the book? Do the animals in a real farm get little food to live on? Do the animals in the farm get worked until they can not work any more and get killed? I think that life in Animal Farm is over Exaggerated. Animals in real farms Probably get more food that just the bear minimum to live on. I think that animals probably do get killed when they get old. Also, I don't think that a farmer would shoot at his own animals if they get loud. The farmer probably should not be getting drunk or he might kill one of his animals by shooting it like he did in the book. So, that is the differences between Animal Farm and a real farm.
