The Huns came from Mongolia lead by Xiongnu in the first century AD. In 434 A.D. Attila and his brother Bleda became the rulers for the Hun tribes. Their land went from central Asia to modern day Germany. In 447 A.D. Attila became the sole ruler of the Hun tribes as his brother was dead. Attila died in 453 A.D. because he choked to death after suffering a severe nose bleed.
The Huns were a nomadic tribe, that numbered in the hundreds of thousands. Attila untied all the Huns in the Europe and went to the west. They ended up in Gaul which is modern day France. Attila and the Huns were defeated in the battle of Catalaunian Plains by the Romans and the Visigoths. After that defeat Attila and the Huns tried to invade Italy in 452 but were defeated by the plague and by the fact that and Attila died the following year in 453.
